“He’s nothing short of incredible, Mr. Billy! I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it for myself. This guy solved the hardest test we could devise!”

Billy shot up from his seat and walked past his technicians. He stood before Bonnie and looked at the monitor. He turned his attention to her and asked excitedly, “H-How’d you do it?!”

As far as Billy was concerned, these tests were exceptionally hard. Not only did Bonnie solve them, but she did so in five short minutes. Billy thought she was an unparalleled genius in this regard.

Initially, Bonnie did not want to say much about it. However, she was there to get the job in Billy’s organization, so she had to sell herself a little. Only then could she infiltrate his organization and get the chip.

Bonnie said, “These tests are some of the most basic things a tech should know.”

She even told them about her take on the tests and how she solved the equations. Since Billy knew a thing or two, his eyes sparkled when he heard how easy she made it sound.

“That’s great, Barrett! I apologize if we offended you earlier,” he said approvingly before gesturing for her to sit beside him, “Have a seat. We have much to discuss.” He was much friendlier to her now, starkly contrasting how he had previously treated her.
