Bonnie was frozen to where she stood and gawked at him.

Her reaction was enough to damage his confidence. ‘I unbuttoned my shirt, but I didn’t remove it. It should’ve been massively sexy to ladies. So, why does she still look this disinterested?

‘Should I have been sexier?’

At the thought of that, he moved to unfasten his belt.

“If you take it off, I’ll ask Keenan to kick you out of the room.”

“He’s dead asleep. He won’t be able to come here.” He smiled and responded.

Then, she looked out the window.

‘I knew it. It’s opened. He climbed into my room through the window. That would’ve made some sort of sound. I was bathing, and even I could hear it through the shower.

‘Keenan was the kind of guy who survived several life-or-death situations. I hesitate to think he wouldn’t have noticed something was amiss.’

“What did you do to Keenan?”

“Nothing. I just put some incense in his room to help with sleep.”

She didn’t respond to him.

“Come on. Get over here.” He wagged his finger at her again.

A cunning humor flashed in her eyes as she said, “Sure.” With that, she walked toward him.

She was wrapped in nothing but the towel. The sight of it was enough to drive him crazy. Every cell in his body was screaming maddeningly, egging him on to do unspeakable things to her.

“Close your eyes.” She grinned from ear to ear.

His eyes sparkled at that. “Are you trying to kiss me? Is it because you’ll feel embarrassed if I look at you?”

“Of course. I’m still just a girl at the end of the day. Hurry up and close your eyes. I just might regret it if you drag this out.”
