"Ahh!" With a loud cry, Jim threw the final person out of the way. Then he stepped on the man’s chest.

"Speak! Who sent you to assassinate her?"

The thug spat blood and quickly begged for mercy, "It's a misunderstanding! We just thought she looked good. No one sent us!"

"Not talking, huh? Then I'll keep hitting until you speak!" Jim raised his fist again.

Bonnie spoke up to stop him, "Stop hitting for now."

With just one sentence, Jim's descending fist halted.

Bonnie walked over to Jim's side. "When I fought them, I realized they had no martial arts training, just random attacks. Assassins wouldn't be like them."

Jim also noticed this. "But it's also possible that those assassins hired them to test you."

Bonnie rubbed her chin. "You make a valid point."

Elsa tugged at her brother's sleeve as she watched. She asked, "Brother, what are they talking about? What assassins? And why does Jim listen to Bonnie like she's his boss?"
