"Don't meddle. Let them figure it out on their own. Whether they end things or continue, it's up to them," Paul responded solemnly.

"Paul..."

Lily tried to say more, but Scott quickly interjected, "Alright, Dad's right. Harper and Benjamin are adults. They should handle their affairs. You've been wanting to travel, right? We have some time now. How about we head to the countryside for a few days?"

Time flew by, and before they knew it, three days had passed.

Harper threw herself into work for most of the time, but as she returned to her apartment after work, the facade of pretending that nothing was wrong would shatter, and her heart would once again become heavily burdened.

Harper nodded, silently reminding herself to stay happy for the sake of the baby.

After the check-up, Julie walked with Harper to the elevator, reminding her, "Eat more nutritious foods. You've been losing weight recently..."

Harper nodded. "Okay."
