Annie hurriedly said, "Okay, I won't say anything anymore."

Harper looked at Frank and said, "Annie didn't mean that."

"I understand what Annie means. I overstepped. Since we are partners, we should share all the company's affairs. I think you would do the same if you were me."

After Frank finished speaking, Harper also nodded in agreement.

He didn't stay long. He didn't look very good and then left the office.

Annie and Harper looked at each other. Annie whispered, "Did I say the wrong thing?"

"It's good that you know." Harper glanced at her, stood up, and sat down at the desk. Of course, she did not mean to blame Annie at all.

It was also good that she said it so bluntly. At least it could make Frank understand they were just friends and partners.

Harper stayed in the company for nearly a whole day, and Annie accompanied her.

At noon, they ate the takeout that Sophia ordered. Harper was very surprised. After all, Annie loved shopping. So how could she suddenly change?

She stared at Annie. Annie frowned and asked, "What do you keep looking at me like that for?"

"You're a bit abnormal. Isn't it boring to stay with me like this?"

"If you're afraid that I'll be bored, stop working and go shopping with me."

Harper frowned and stared at her, but suddenly, her phone rang.

She picked up her phone and saw that it was Benjamin calling.

Annie also saw the incoming call notification, and said calmly, "Don't answer it. You should just leave him alone."

Harper didn't plan to answer the call at first. He just wanted to explain what happened last night, but she didn't want to hear it.

So she cut it off immediately.
