Harper's eyes widened. She did not expect Benjamin to be so unreasonable.

The space in the car was already small. He was close to her. It became even more crowded and narrow. The temperature gradually rose. She could only smell his aura.

Until his cell phone rang, Benjamin stopped unwillingly.

But he still leaned against her and refused to leave. He picked up the phone and pressed answer directly. A woman's gentle voice sounded in the quiet air. "Benjamin, are you done? My parents want to invite you for dinner. Is it convenient for you?"

Harper was so angry that she pushed him away with force. Then she turned her head, pushed open the car door, and left.

Benjamin rubbed the top of his head where he was hit as he stared closely at the fleeing figure.

Lauren whispered, "Benjamin, where are you? What's the sound over there..."

"Please tell your parents that I'm busy tonight. Let's have dinner together some other time," he interrupted Lauren.

Lauren naturally dare not force him.

She said, "Okay, just the checkup at the hospital in two days..."

"I have already told Curtis. He'll be in full charge. If you need anything, talk to him directly," he responded.

"Okay, then I won't bother you with your work."

After Lauren finished speaking, Benjamin directly hung up the phone.
