Just as Harper was about to open the car door and get in, a man came over and asked, "Ms. Mitchell, are you going back this late?"

Harper didn't remember this man, but since he knew her last name, she guessed he must be a worker there. So, she nodded politely. However, before she could speak, something covered her head.

Everything before Harper's eyes suddenly went black. She was carried into the car without having time to react.

She could tell from the footsteps that there were two men. After she got in the car, her hands were tied to the door handle.

At this time, Harper heard the man who had just talked to her say, "Should we take her to Mr. Wilson's place?"

Harper heard the word "Mr. Wilson". The only Mr. Wilson she was familiar with was Edward, who happened to have conflicts with her over the project.

Harper was taken to a villa, and then the covering on her head was removed. The dazzling light made her squint in discomfort.

When she saw that the man sitting on the couch was Edward, she was not so scared anymore.

Edward smiled, "I'm sorry to bring you here in this way."

Although he said he was sorry, he didn't look guilty at all.
