I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin) novel Chapter 269

Chapter 269 Are You Interested?

Harper felt it would be inappropriate for her to stay any longer. She stood up and pointed to the door. Frank nodded gently and watched Harper leave and close the door for him.

Frank remained silent while listening to Michelle's unreasonable argument.

It wasn't until Michelle reached her limit that he asked, "Michelle, what did you promise me before coming to Mayby? If you continue like this, I will send you back."

Michelle said quickly, "Frank, I was wrong, but I did it all for you..."

"Okay. I'm going to work."

Frank hung up the phone directly. He threw the phone on the desk with a dark face. He was in a very depressed mood.

After regaining his composure, Frank went to Harper's office with the project he had been on the verge of discussing with her.

The project was an architecture competition organized by the Martin Group. It was officially announced half a year ago. The qualifying round would take place next month. There would be a total of three rounds, consisting of a qualifying round, a semi-final, and a final, which would determine the winner, runner-up, and third-place finisher.

Frank had mentioned to Harper before that the winner, runner-up, and third-place finisher could enter the country's top architectural design institute, and the champion would be recommended by the design institute to become the chief architect of the city's iconic building.

This was undoubtedly a one-off.

For architects, it was an opportunity and a dream.

If gaining admission to the design institute was the pinnacle, then becoming the chief architect of a city's iconic building was the pinnacle of pinnacles.

Frank explained the rules of the competition in detail so that Harper could understand them. He asked, "Harper, what do you think? Are you interested?"

Harper did not give an answer immediately.

The competition lasted for three months. If it was simply because of pregnancy, she could say yes.

But she was hesitant.

She said, "I need to ponder about it."
