Chapter 300 An Accomplice

Jack asked, "What about that money that the Martin Group settled earlier?"

Wulf replied, "That money paid the interest on the other debt. That was only just enough for interest. So Mr. Jack Mitchell, what do we do next?"

Jack fell silent.

He couldn't breathe at all, as if he had a boulder weighing him down on his shoulders.

As soon as he was quiet, the sound of being pursued for debt repayment kept ringing in his ears. The sound made his head numb and hurt, as if it would just explode the next second.

Wulf didn't hear a response from him for a long time, so he turned around and asked, "Mr. Jack Mitchell, why don't I take you home first?"

He kept asking, "Mr. Jack Mitchell? Mr. Jack Mitchell?"

Jack leaned back in the backseat with his eyes closed, and Wulf called out to him several times with no response. Then he realized Jack had probably passed out.

In the hospital, Jack was being rescued.

Jack was in a coma caused by too much stress and wasn't in good condition at the moment.

Kimberly and Jennifer got the news and came immediately. Jennifer cried out in anxiety. "Why is he in a coma?"

Kimberly gently reassured Jennifer, "Mommy, Daddy's going to be okay. We have to trust him."

Jennifer pressed her lips together and kept nodding.

They had no good options now. There was nothing they could do as family members except pray and believe in him.

Jack was wheeled out half an hour later. While his life was not in danger, it was unknown when he would wake up.

Back in the ward, Kimberly asked Jennifer to stay with Jack. Kimberly was going home to pack some daily necessities and clothes to change into. And she sent Harper a message.

Harper was eating breakfast and dropped her fork when she saw what Kimberly had sent.
