I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin) novel Chapter 330

Chapter 330 The Hat

Actually, having a sister like Michelle was quite exhausting.

Frank and the Parker family had an adoptive relationship; Michelle was his non-blood-related sister, but her personality was quite domineering and willful. Some of her behaviors, even to an outsider like Harper, seemed quite rude, but Frank had always been tolerant.

Since Frank hadn't come to the company, Harper could only busy herself with other things for the time being.

At lunchtime, she just grabbed a random boxed meal in the office and checked her phone several times. Actually, she couldn't help but want to message Benjamin, but ultimately, she resisted the urge.

Likewise, Benjamin was in a similar situation.

Even during the morning meeting, he remained silent, his expression cold and indifferent. The upper management of the company dared not make a sound, assuming that Mr. Martin was in a bad mood today. Based on past experiences, they knew it was best to speak less and do more.

Finally, when the meeting ended and Benjamin returned to his office, he still had a cold expression on his face, frequently checking his phone.

Curtis noticed several times and couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Martin, is there something wrong?"

Benjamin looked at him indifferently. "Are you so concerned about me? Shouldn't you be working instead of speculating about your boss all the time?"

Curtis inadvertently provoked Benjamin.

Curtis quickly lowered his head, not daring to say anything, and simply endured Benjamin's dissatisfaction.

With a grimace, Benjamin waved his hand, gesturing for Curtis to leave. He leaned back in his office chair, his expression remaining dim and indifferent, his mood not improving for a long time.

Afternoon.

Harper took a short nap in the office.

Then, she checked the time. It was already past two o'clock. She stood up and went to find Frank.

She asked Frank's secretary, "Has Mr. Parker returned?"

"He just came back and went in."

Harper turned back to grab her laptop and then walked to Frank's office.

She knocked on the door, received a response, and entered.

She asked, "Frank, where did you go?"
