I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin) novel Chapter 358

Chapter 358 Quit Now

"It's alright."

"Tsk, are you now successful in both career and marriage?"

"Well, how about you? Are you doing okay?"

"I'm doing fine, living out my days in solitude. Don't worry about me. But if you really feel sorry for me, you can have the baby and give it to me after it's born, or better yet, have one specifically for me, huh?"

Letting out a sigh, Annie put on a pitiful expression, hoping to evoke sympathy from Harper.

But to her surprise, Harper responded coldly, "I'm not worried about you, so just live your life well on your own."

Feeling extremely aggrieved, Annie picked up her bag and stood up, saying, "Don't stop me, I'm taking a taxi back to Dattlech tonight."

"Alright, take care."

Harper didn't react much.

Annie sighed in resignation, then walked over to Harper, gently pinching her neck. "Heartless woman, now that you have a husband, you treat me like this, huh?"

"Let go of me quickly. There are cameras here. I can let it slide, but Benjamin might not. If he comes, you might really be heading back to Dattlech tonight."

"Hmph." After releasing her grip, Annie leaned against Harper's shoulder, saying, "Good luck in the competition. Don't be nervous. I'll be with you all the way."

No matter how they teased each other or what happened, their relationship would never change, nor would it be influenced by external interests or the instigation of others.

Benjamin gave them ample time to chat and relax, only calling to remind them he was waiting outside after over an hour.

Harper and Annie came out hand in hand. After getting in the car, they both sat in the back seat as if Benjamin were just their chauffeur.

Annie teased, "Mr. Martin, are you upset about personally driving us?"

Harper rested her head against the window, preferring not to understand this banter.

Seeing Harper's reaction through the rearview mirror, Benjamin couldn't help but smile, saying, "No, I'm honored to serve two beautiful ladies."
