Harper instructed Sophia not to inform the other two guys, not because she suspected them, but because the fewer people who knew, the better.

After she explained the situation to Curtis, he immediately contacted the person in charge at the competition venue. Within minutes, the person in charge opened the surveillance footage for Harper to review.

The prime suspect turned out to be the staff member who delivered the fruit. However, upon investigation, it was revealed that this staff member was an imposter and not part of the competition staff.

The person was disguised with a hat and deliberately kept the back to the cameras. It seemed impossible to identify the culprit.

Harper understood that she was out of luck.

The person in charge promptly arranged for a new resting room for her, but Harper chose to stay alone for a while.

Annie offered to accompany her, but Harper declined, stating she just needed some quiet time.

Annie, concerned, glanced at her before following Sophia and the others to the new resting room.

The two other guys soon found out about the incident, which cast a somber atmosphere in the room.

Sophia was overwhelmed with guilt and self-blame. "It's all my fault. I should have been more vigilant. It's all on me."

Although Annie was unfamiliar with Sophia, she still believed her. After all, Harper shared the computer password with Sophia. She comforted Sophia. "This was a premeditated mishap. Even if you had kept an eye on the computer, they would have found another way."
