I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin) novel Chapter 372

Chapter 372 Sudden Kiss

Harper had been pregnant for over four months now, and if one didn't know, one couldn't tell, but those in the know felt her pregnancy weighed heavily on her.

To lighten her workload, Annie took the initiative to handle the revisions of her drawings and also guided Sophia and the others in their progress.

This allowed Harper to temporarily focus on the projects at the Martin Group.

In the morning, she went to the construction site to hand over the exterior design drawings to Charlie and then inspected the necessary materials. In the afternoon, she went to the Martin Group to show Benjamin the design drawings.

It had been several days since Harper last visited, so Curtis was surprised to see her, but he still quickly greeted her and led her to the office.

Harper assumed only Benjamin was inside. So, she smiled, teasingly saying, "Mr. Martin, are you busy? I..."

Before she could finish her sentence, her eyes caught sight of someone else in the office.

It was Dorcas.

She was sitting in Benjamin's chair, and Benjamin, with his hands on the desk, seemed to be talking to her. Both wore varying degrees of smiles, seemingly enjoying their conversation.

Upon hearing her voice, Benjamin immediately looked up and walked towards her. Harper, however, remained composed, retracting her gaze and speaking. "Sorry, did I interrupt something?"

Stopping in front of her, Benjamin stared at Harper. "No interruption. Dorcas and I were just discussing project matters. Why are you here at this time?"

Remaining composed, Harper replied, "I brought the design drawings for you to review. Is now convenient? If not, I can come back later."

"You can come whenever you want."

He continued to scrutinize her expression, not missing any changes.

Harper pretended not to notice, allowing him to lead her to the sofa.

Dorcas also stood up from the chair, smiling, "Harper, you did great on the spot. Congratulations on passing the preliminaries."
