They waved hands, and Harper got out of the car. She stood there and watched Frank drive away, and then she walked into the apartment with Annie.
Harper asked, "Were you deliberate just now?"
"I just don't like him."
"Can't you control it?" Harper asked softly, but she was actually quite helpless. She said, "Do you have any problems or unhappy moments with him? Why do you have such a big hostility against him?"
Although Annie had said before that she simply didn't like Frank and they didn't have much contact, she just didn't like him.
Annie sighed silently, and then said, "I used to think he was quite hypocritical, but now I think he is a very scheming person. I also want to control it and don't want to disturb you, but I just can't control it. And I had thought about it carefully. If I change my attitude toward him obviously, he should also become suspicious, right?"
Harper stopped smiling, and responded with nods.
In fact, what she cared about was not Annie's attitude towards Frank, but her inner feelings towards Frank had changed, so Harper felt a little uncomfortable in her heart.
Back at the apartment, Harper felt tired and wanted to take a bath and lie down, so she separated from Annie.
They opened the opposite door respectively and waved goodbye. Closing the door, Harper saw the familiar man's shoes at the entrance.
She was a little surprised. Benjamin came back so soon?
Harper changed her shoes and walked in. She saw Benjamin standing on the balcony of the living room and talking on the phone. She didn't interrupt him. After putting down her bag, she went back to the room to take a shower.
She didn't come out until about half an hour later. The man was sitting on the sofa. The atmosphere was quiet and vaguely weird.
Harper walked over to him, sat down, and asked softly, "What brings you back so early today?"
Benjamin said nothing, but looked up into her eyes and said in a gentle voice, "Don't you wish I'd come back so early? What's there for you to fear I'd discover or see?"
Harper frowned subconsciously. "What are you saying?"
"Oh, you don't know what I'm saying? You really don't have anything to say to me?"
He looked at her with gloomy eyes and his face was expressionless.
Her face was slightly pale, and she asked in confusion, "What happened to you? You were fine before you left this morning."
"You didn't drive to the company today? You specially asked Frank to take you back? What's your intention?"
Benjamin stared at her with cold eyes without blinking, and his continuous questioning made her eyes widen slightly.
Did he see Frank sending her back?
