I Refuse to Divorce novel (Zoe and Mason) novel Chapter 19

They had been married for three years. Mason knew how to turn her on, make her feel aroused, and make her bend over irresistibly. Both of them were entwined with each other in the darkness.

They received education in privileged schools since they were young. Zoe was a by-the-numbers lady of a wealthy and prestigious family. Mason was extremely picky about the location where he had sex with a lady.

However, he did not give a damn about it now. He wanted to see her having a meltdown right there. He wanted her to cry in his embrace and call out to him in a feeble and hoarse voice. Zoe was on the brink of collapse, “You’re wrong! That’s not true!”

Her voice was husky and trembling, but it only served to incite the man before her. Mason suppressed her every single time she struggled and continued to treat her rougher, He even whispered nastily in her ear, “Do you know who he is?”

“Don’t you think he’s somewhat similar to me? What’s the matter? Are you trying to find someone to replace me?”

He knew her body too well and he was particularly skillful in this department. Zoe sobbed softly. He pressed his face against her hair, fixed his gaze on her, and uttered coldly, “Does it feel good?”

Zoe leaned on his shoulder, her tender skin looked especially fair against his black shirt. She could feel her body clinging to the after effects of the pleasure, but her mind had never been clearer.

She was sure there was bad blood between Mason and Cecil. She did not bother to guess what went down. Zoe’s hands were full handling Mason’s anger.

She did not make a sound for a long time. Mason glared at her and snorted. He came from a wealthy and prestigious family, after all. Naturally, he was going to be picky about the location. He had no intention of staying any longer on this worn-down staircase.

Somewhat satisfied for the moment, he carried her into an alley where he parked his black Bentley, which stood out like s sore thumb in the rundown alley. He switched on the air conditioner, tossed some tissue papers her way, and glared at her as she tidied herself up.

Truth be told, he was in no place to judge her. He had not sated his lust ever since Zoe wanted to divorce him. He got the urge to have sex with her when he saw just how lewd she was, but she was not on the pill, and nor did he have a condom in his car. So, he pushed his urges down!

Zoe came to her senses after she was done tidying up herself. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t that difficult to guess Mason’s thoughts. He was merely displeased that his wife, whom he had yet to divorce, was a tad too intimate with the other men.

It had nothing to do with love. As for this ridiculous intimate moment they shared earlier, it was nothing but embarrassment for Zoe. She mocked him deliberately, “Are you jealous, Mason?”

He reached out, caressed her cheeks gently, and sneered, “Don’t flatter yourself! I’m merely reminding you that you’re still my wife! So, stop hanging out with random guys.”

Zoe’s smile widened. “But you can hang out with any girl you like. Is that how it works?” Mason’s deep stare hinted at an untold story. He actually did not care much about Lilith. Ava did most of the work for him. He merely dropped by and visited her occasionally if he had some business in Hucksburgh.

With that said, he did not intend to explain himself to Zoe. There was no need for him to do it! He did not lose his cool today because he cared about her. Instead, it was because of Cecil.

He shifted into a more comfortable position. Zoe, on the other hand, wanted to leave now. She barely moved when Mason pressed down on her hand, “Wait a minute!” Then, he took a cigarette out of its packet and lit it. Smoke started to fill his car.
