She pointed to the chair beside her. "Let's sit down and talk. There are chairs over there."
"There's no need."
John waved his hand. "My flight is an hour away; I am about to return to Camford Country. So I come to see you again before I leave."
"What? You're returning to Camford Country! Didn't you just come back not long ago and say that you plan to seek development here? It's not long before, but now you're leaving again."
Eudora couldn't understand.
Moreover, John seemed to be in a hurry to leave this time.
"I've been abroad for a long time, and I'm used to it. I originally planned to seek development here, but I failed to adapt to the environment here for more than half a year."
He shrugged helplessly. "Maybe it's because I'm not good at doing this."
He seemed to give Eudora a reason for his leave. But in fact, John's task had been completed.
He wouldn't be needed in Kenison City, so it was time to leave.
Facing her first love, Eudora was still feeling regretful for him.
But things had passed. There was indeed no need to mention what had happened in the past. And they should let go of each other and pursue their own future.
She lowered her eyes and sighed. "Since you told me now, you must have made up your mind to leave. There is no need for me to let you stay."
Eudora stepped forward, opened her arms, and gave him a hug. "Good luck. And see you later."
There were so many she wanted to say to him. She had kept those words inside ever since he left Kenison City. With the passage of time, they had been eroded by time. She had almost forgotten what she wanted to tell him.
There seemed to be so many to say, but she didn't know how to start.
Finally, Eudora let go of John with reluctance in her eyes.
When she hugged him, John's heart beat faster and throbbed for a while.
But he didn't raise his hands after a long time. It was probably because he dared not, or he was afraid...
He was afraid that he would be unwilling to leave after he hugged her back.
"I have something for you."
John took out an exquisite square golden velvet box and handed it to Eudora. "This is a gift for you. I hope you can wear it in the future."
"What's this?"
She took the thing curiously and opened it. It was an entry lux bracelet.
A very slim entry lux bracelet with edges and corners and three broken blue diamonds were inlaid in the middle. Two bows and arrows were engraved on both sides of the diamonds.
