Eudora was walking from the suburbs to the city. She called Chasel with complicated feelings, but no one answered.
Guessing that Chasel should be busy, Eudora didn't continue to call.
After hesitating again and again, she found Colbert's number in the address book and dialed it.
"Beep, beep..."
The phone rang twice, but no one answered.
Suddenly, a black car stopped beside Eudora.
Eudora was startled. She turned her head and looked at the car parked beside her. She realized that it was Colbert's car.
The car door opened. Colbert got off the car.
He dressed up today and was extraordinarily handsome.
But his expression was cold.
Eudora watched him, and Colbert watched her.
The two looked at each other for a few seconds. Colbert looked down at the phone in his hand, swiped the screen with his thumb, and answered.
Putting the mobile phone up to his ear, he looked at Eudora in front of him with complicated and deep eyes. "What's the matter?"
Eudora clutched the phone tightly, never expecting that Colbert would answer it.
She pursed her red lips lightly, hesitated, and said, "Would you believe me if I said that I didn't do it?"
When Eudora finished speaking, Colbert didn't speak.
The two just stared at each other, letting the autumn breeze blow the hair on their foreheads and disturb each other's feelings.
