Eudora suddenly sat in bed, looked around, and realized they were in the observatory.
"Why was there a bed..."
"Look at that."
Colbert did not explain but pointed to the end of the sky where the mountains overlapped.
Eudora looked back and found the red sun had risen from the hill. It was shining red, the green mountains were covered with an orange halo, and the mist was ethereal. With the breeze, it was just like a beautiful scroll.
"It's breathtaking."
Eudora sat on the bed, holding a thin quilt over her body.
The autumn morning was freezing.
She then realized Colbert had brought her to see the stars and the sunrise.
Colbert moved to sit beside her. "Don't you want to take a picture?"
"Oh, yes. Exactly!"
Eudora reached for the phone in her pocket, pressed it, and found it didn't respond. "My phone is dead," she said, glancing at Colbert's. "Lend me your phone. I'll take some pictures, and you can send them to me."
She put down her phone and directly grabbed Colbert's.
She was swept away in flood on Mount Colia, and Colbert followed the flood to find her despite the danger because he cared about her, not because Belinda liked her. That was why he took the risk to save her!
She looked at the picture in a daze. Colbert looked back and saw Eudora staring at the picture on his phone.
Just as Colbert was about to speak, Eudora suddenly looked up, stuck the phone in front of him, and asked, "When did you fall in love with me?"
It was a very sudden question that caught the man off guard.
He slightly frowned, glanced at the picture, then looked at Eudora, thought about it, and said, "In the fire of the Gardenview Apartment? Or maybe earlier."
Colbert did not hide his love for her but admitted it.
