I'm Your Sister, Brother Chow novel Chapter 23

Chow's actions shocked everyone. Vivian froze in his arms. She could not believe that he actually did this to her in public.

The expression on the boy's face, which was originally hopeful and full of anticipation, was replaced by shock and anger. He glared angrily at Chow but didn't know how to react. His face turned immensely red.

Chow would never acknowledge such a weakling as an opponent, let alone his love rival.

He scoffed as he leaned forward to whisper icily in the boy's ear. "Don't listen to her nonsense. Women are more cunning than you think."

His voice was very low. Even if they were surrounded by pin-drop silence, no one else other than the three of them could hear it.

Vivian's face turned deathly white. The anger in the boy's eyes was also evidently aimed towards Chow.

Chow straightened up and fixed the boy's collar. "I'm warning you to leave my woman alone," he said in a bone-chilling voice. "You can't afford to mess with me."

Chow finally let go of Vivian. He scanned the crowd with his sharp eyes once more before firmly striding away.

After learning of Chow's identity, the students looked at Vivian with even more contempt, but they dared not say anything.

However, she didn't even need to hear any more such gossip to feel the sense of shame and embarrassment that Chow made her feel just from his actions earlier.

Her face was sickly pale, her dark eyes glistening with tears.

She didn't let the tears fall because she knew nobody would feel any sympathy for her.

...

She slowly made her way towards the classrooms under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

Since it was almost the class time, the student onlookers also hurried back to class with her. The school grounds started bustling again, but Vivian's heart was already dead to the world.

She had been stripped bare of her final layer of defence under Chow's merciless actions.
