Abigail said, “He’s not in Hong Kong right now, probably a real pain to get a new SIM band Such a headache.” 

Comelia responded, “As long as he’s okay, that’s all that matters. You can always buy a new phone, no need to stress about it.” 

Zack chimed in, “The moving boxes I ordered online have arrived. After dinner, I’ll go get them. We’ve got some free time these days, might as well start moving stuff to the new place.” 

Comelia agreed, “Sounds good.” She had the same idea. The more they moved now the less they’d have to deal with later. Once the new place was ready, they could just pack a backpack and move in easily. 

Abigail added, “I mentioned you guys to my boyfriend today. He’s free this weekend and he’s gonna treat us to dinner. You guys can check him out for me” 

Comelia replied, “He seems quite proactive” 

Zack muttered, “Always beanng gifts for no reason, either a scammer or a thief. 

Abigail punched him lightly. “We’re officially together now; you’re not allowed to bad–mouth him behind his back. You can observe him when we meet, if you think there’s something off, tell me directly.” 

Zack rubbed the spot where he’d been hit, feeling more and more wronged, almost to the point of tears, Tve raised two girls with so much effort, only for them to be taken away so easily. Cornelia quickly put a piece of fish into his plate, “Zack, don’t cry. No matter who we marry, you’ll always be our favorite friend, and no one can replace you in our 

hearts 

Zack pretended to wipe his tears, ate the fish Cornelia gave him, and said, “Cornelia remember what you said today. If Jeremy and I both fall into the water, you have to save me first.” 

Comelia answered, “You can swim.” 

Zack said, ‘I can, but even if I don’t, you have to save me! 

Cornelia replied, “Okay, okay, I’ll save you first.” 

Abigail said, “Zack, you’re so dramatic. I’m going to throw up the food I just ate.” 

Zack asked, “If your boyfriend and I both fall into the water, who would you save?“. 

Abigail also put some food into his plate, “I’ll save you, of course. If I don’t, we’ll all be sickened to death by your drama.” 

Zack said, “I just love you guys.” 

Cornelia and Abigail responded, “Eww!” 

And so, they finished their meal amidst the lively chatter. 

Cornelia was in charge of cooking. Abigail cleaned up the table after the meal, and Zack took on dishwashing duty.
