Comelia didn’t have a clear idea about how much one could earn from ad views Seeing Taylor so happy, Cornelia guessed that everyone could at least rake in a couple of thousands. Not only did she get back at the Reese family, but she could also make some dough. The thought made Cornelia extremely happy 

While delivering coffee to Marcus, she had a grin plastered on her face 

Marcus asked, “What’s got you so giddy?” 

Cornelia shrugged “Oh, nothing” 

The smile on her face definitely meant that it wasn’t nothing. Marcus didn’t buy it, but he didn’t push it further. As long as she was happy, it was all good 

After putting the coffee in its designated spot, Cornelia, as per the usual, stood in front of his desk to report the day’s itinerary. 

Cornelia said “President Hartley, at nine A M… we have to accompany the gentleman from Germany and show him around our Al factory at Riverton. Atten, we’ll be accompanying him to the Riverton museum to get him acquainted with the history and culture of Riverton.” 

“Uh–huh Marcus nodded, taking a sip of his coffee 

Cornelia glanced at her watch. It was half past eight half an hour to nine, I’m going to prepare some documents needed for the meeting” 

Marcus suddenly asked. “Did you grind the coffee today? It doesn’t taste bitter enough” 

Comelia had only slightly altered the taste of the coffee. She didn’t think Marcus would notice, but he did. 

She had to come clean, “Your stomach isn’t in the best condition, and you always drink freshly ground black coffee on an empty stomach. It’s not good for you. I added a bit of milk to your coffee, hoping you would gradually get used to it and eventually not prefer it so bitter.”
