Chapter 749
Comelia and Abigail were a bit taken aback, immediately rushing over to give Zack a hug
Comelia asked, “Zack, what’s up with you? Abigail has stuff to do this afternoon, but I’m free, I can hang out with you. Whatever you wanna do, I’m down, okay?”
“Really?” Zack cocked his head slightly, eyeing Marcus who was standing behind Comelia, “Your boyfriend cool with that?”
Comelia retorted, “I’m not doing anything wrong, why wouldn’t he be?”
Zack said, “I wanna hear it from him.”
Comelia tumed around, tugging at Marcus‘ sleeve, “You tell him.”
Marcus responded nonchalantly. Ill stay with you to keep him company”
Zack was speechless. He only wanted Cornelia to stay, who asked for Marcus to stick around?
As the CEO of the Hartley Group, didn’t he have any self–awareness? Didn’t he realize he was just making Zack uncomfortable by being here?
Zack also knew that sooner or later, Comelia would move in with Marcus, and his time with her would get less and less. In the future, the three of them might not be able to hang out like before.
Wiping away his tears, Zack declared loudly, ‘Comelia, listen up, you better be happy in the future! And you guys…”
He turned to the two men, “You two snatched away my friends who I’ve known for over twenty years without my permission. Let me tell you, if you dare to treat her badly, Ill make sure you pay. I won’t let you off easily.”
Marcus remained silent, elegantly eating the food Comelia had served him.
Nash replied enthusiastically. “Don’t worry, I’ll definitely treat Abigail well. If I don’t, may I get hit by a car the moment I step outside.”
Zack said. “You said it, don’t blame me for cursing you.”
Nash responded, “I said it, it has nothing to do with you Come on, let’s have a few more drinks.”
After a few more rounds, Zack started to feel dizzy and suddenly broke down in tears, crying and talking at the same time..
“We’ve known each other since we were kids. Over the years, we’ve always been together, never apart. now you’re ditching me for your boyfriends. Isn’t it nice for the three of us to live together like before? Why do you need guys? Haven’t you heard that men only bring women misery?”
“Who’s been feeding you this bullshit?” Cornelia patted his back, consoling him in a gentle voice, “Zack, whether we get married or not, we’ll always be together like before, we’ll never separate.”
