What's going on?

Has someone stolen her child, or does Whitney want to abandon the baby?

This happens just as I ask Frances to take over custody of the baby. It seems strange, but I don't have any time to think about it carefully.

I can't leave this child alone anyway.

"Let's go!"

I stand up and drag Mindy downstairs.

"Hey, wait a minute. I have to take my baby."

Mindy pushes the stroller and follows behind me.
