A few hours ago, Joey took Jane Dulce to the practice room. She asked the best music teacher in the company to guide Jane in singing.

Jane had good talent in singing. Her music teacher had praised and favoured her. Joeysat aside watching, she was also very satisfied.

While practicing, a cool girl came into the practice room, followed by three young and fashionable girls.

Joey asked the music teacher to take a break. Then she called Jane and four other girls to come over.

“Jane, four of them are the other members of the team, let me introduce to you.” Joey smiled and looked at Jane said, “This is Jemma Turner.”

A girl with earrings smiled at Jane, but there was a bit of banter and disdain in her smile.

Joey introduced another two girls, named “Keira Khan” and “Joyce Barron”. Both were just like Jemma, smiled perfunctorily with a hint of disdain for Jane in their eyes.

“This is Abby Hunter,” Jane introduced the last girl. Abby was the girl who came in alone. She also had short hair just like Joey. She stood in a particularly casual posture, always with a faint smile on her face.

“Tell Vivian, she’s no need to come.” Joey said casually, “Now Jane has joined us, we are no longer to recruit new members. Five of you will form a newly launched group and the name of group has been confirmed which will be called Dreamgirls. You guys need to keep it up. Once the opportunity gets ripe, company will show you to the audience.”

When hearing that her bestie was out of play, her heart felt cold and she turned her eyes on Jane. She felt that Jane had taken her bestie’s opportunity, the look of disgust became more obvious.

“Well, you don’t have much time left, hurry up and practice.” Joey clapped her hands twice and asked the music teacher to continue the class.

"Okay, now let’s all practice ‘As Free As A Dream’. This is a song you always had to sing at the beginning of debut,” the music teacher said. After that, the music teacher led Jane and the others to sing it lightly with the music score. Five of them sang together in a low voice and the chorus sounded nice but couldn’t hear who was better or worse.

"Let's sing separately and I’ll correct you one by one. Joyce, you go first,” said the music teacher, looking at Joyce.

When Joyce's solo, Jemma was pleased with herself, she was the best in singing. She would like to show Jane her strength, preferably to make Jane ashamed of herself and leave the group voluntarily, so that her bestie would have a chance.

When the first three members finished, the music teacher gave each of them suggestions on how to work on their flawed areas.

When it was Jemma's turn, she cleared her throat and started to sing.

Her voice was good, explosive and easy to take in and out. She had studied vocal music for more than 10 years from school, and her voice was comfortable.

After she finished singing, everyone applauded for her, and Joey nodded in satisfaction.

"Not bad, a little more rounding in the transpositions and there will be no big problem," the music teacher said while looking at Jemma with a smile.

Jemma was also felt very proud. When she returned to her place, she gave Jane a triumphant glance and snorted slightly inconspicuously.

The reason why Jemma and the three of them looked down on Jane was that they think she was not worthy of forming a group with them because of her ordinary dress and she came from small country town. Also, she had taken away the seat of Jemma's bestie, so they did not have a good feeling towards Jane at all.

Jemma was picking her nails while looking at Jane standing in the middle of the room. In her opinion, her outstanding singing just now had crushed Jane, who was just a small rookie in front of her.

Jane held the microphone nervously. She glanced at the lyrics and slowly closed her eyes.

A melodious voice wafted out of Jane’s mouth. Her voice was not as hoarse as the original singer Wang Feng. It was like a trickling stream flowing from a glacier, singing into to one's heart.

Everyone unwittingly revealed a smile on their faces, and the music teacher showed a look of surprise, as if to say, "Can this song sing like that way?"

Jemma was slightly stunned when she heard Jane’s singing voice.
