Invincible Heir novel Chapter 224

Martin looked at Baron coldly, without saying a word.

And others lowered their heads, like they were afraid to look at Baron directly. When Baron and Tracy advanced towards them, everyone stood aside to let them through.

“Stop him, Mr. Brook!” A voice boomed suddenly from the crowd.

When Baron realized the voice was Marry’s, he was furious. He had left her go, but she offended him again.

When Tracy heard Marry’s voice, her face was dark with anger. “What are you doing, Marry?” she shouted.

Everyone turned their faces to Marry to hear what she would say next.

Marry made no reply. She turned to Martin and said, “I know him so well, Mr. Brook! He was nothing but a former security guard. Yes, he is a tough guy. But apart from that, he is good for nothing! Mr. Brook, the jerk has broken your son’s arm, but you just stand by and do nothing. If it gets out, people will look down on you.”

Baron said nothing and looked at Marry coldly.

And others stared at Baron, uncomprehending. Was that true what Marry said? Why did Jacob follow a security guard?

Martin looked dubious. He started to get the feeling something was wrong. He was over sixty years old and had met all kinds of people. He was really good judge of character. Soon, he made his decision.

Then he threw Marry an annihilating glance. “What did you just say? People will look down on me?”

“Yes. If it gets out, others will not respect you anymore!” Marry continued. She seemed bent on her revenge and ignored Martin’s very surly face.

“Say it again!” Martin looked livid. His voice was full of anger.

At that moment, Marry just realized something was very wrong. “I am looking out for you, Mr. Brook!” said Marry hastily.

Martin strode up to her and smacked her right across the face. Immediately, Marry’s cheek swollen and blood dripped from the corner of her mouth.

Martin grabbed her hair. “You can’t fool me, Bitch! I know what you’re trying to do here! You want to use me to hurt him, right?” he roared.
