Let's Start All Over Again, Shall We (Maggie and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 313

Chapter 313 You’re Really Nathael

Maggie went inside to change her clothes while Nathael removed his bow tie, as his suit was not too extravagant.

After signing the bill and making the payment, Nathael motioned to Alex. His eyes darkened, and hel spoke deeply, “Ask Ethan to take some people to teach Joseph a lesson. Tell him to mind his words.”

Alright, Alex respondecimmediately, feeling that Joseph was asking for trouble.

Does he think Mr. Harris is a pushover?

Half an hour later, Maggie sat in Nathael’s car, heading home together.

It was funny how a simple grocery trip turned into buying a wedding dress. It was quite a departure from the original plan.

Nathael sat beside her, playing with her fingers, his gaze drifting outside the window, lost in thought.

Maggie turned to look at his stern profile and spoke gently. “Do you still want to eat something?”

Although she had eaten some snacks in the dressing room, most were afternoon tea pastries. Nathael probably didn’t eat much of those.

“If you’re hungry, we can find a restaurant.” Nathael withdrew his gaze, his voice low, mellow, and pleasant

to the ear.

Maggie shook her head. “I’m not hungry. I can just eat some fruit when we get back. I’m just worried about you being hungry,”

Nathael said in a deep voice, “Just make sure to prepare something for me when we get back.”

“Alright.”

After Maggie agreed, there was a pause, and she suddenly realised that the phrasing of that sentence seemed a bit off.

Oh no, she wasn’t sure if it was her feeling off or the wording of the sentence that felt off.

Maggie’s cheeks instantly flushed with a layer of rouge–like colour, feeling inexplicably warm. Her ears

turned red.

She withdrew her hand and touched her ears, avoiding Nathael’s gaze, feeling too embarrassed to look at him.

Nathael also realised what happened and chuckled softly. He pulled her into his arms and gently kissed her earlobe, whispering, “So you like this kind of thing.”

“Nathael!” Maggie’s embarrassed face turned bright red, and she glared at him, unable to find the words to

say.

Nathael’s usually stern expression softened at this moment, and a hint of a smile graced his face.

Maggie didn’t want to respond, but remembering what was said earlier, she felt that not responding would be unnatural.

But the problem was that his remark sounded too natural. Besides, she had prepared food for him just a few days ago. Who would overthink it?

Maggie covered her ears and scolded indignantly, “I’m not clean anymore. You’ve defiled the pure little flower of our motherland.”

Nathael raised an eyebrow. “You just agreed.”

“I this, Nathael!” Maggie couldn’t help but speak, her eyes gleaming with

never thought you’d be like charm, and a hint of blush appeared at the corners of her eyes, making her look alluring and seductive.

Nathael pinched her lip and lowered his head to capture her lips, his voice husky. “Nana.”

Maggie’s eyelashes trembled lightly as she softly asked, “Do I look beautiful in the wedding dress?”

Nathael continued kissing her neck, murmuring. “Yes, if we weren’t outside, I would just tear up that wedding dress and watch you cry.”

Maggie lowered her gaze, her breath becoming somewhat erratic. She felt his warm lips, which seemed to leave behind a trail of subtle electricity wherever they touched, sending tingles down her spine and making her feel as if even her bones had softened..

After a while, Maggie, panting lightly, pressed Nathael’s hand and whispered, “We’re still in the car. Don’t get carried away.”

Nathael embraced her in his arms, lowering his gaze to conceal the dark desire in his eyes, and refrained from making any further moves.

“Wasn’t it because of Joseph that you were upset later?” Maggie asked softly.

“He called you Maggie, Nathael said in a low voice, his tone somewhat muffled.

Maggie was stunned for a few seconds, sensing the hint of grievance in his tone. She couldn’t help but feel a mix of emotions.

But she had to admit, putting herself in his shoes, that she might not feel comfortable if someone called. him “Nathael“.

“You called him Joseph.” Nathael looked into her eyes and spoke softly, adding another sentence.
