Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 140

Chapter 140

Moreover, they knew Diane was a very good daughter-in-law. When Severin was in jail, she secretly looked after them and helped them. Because of that, they thought they owed Diane and her family

a lot.

Judith gave it a thought and thought it was better to ask. “Severin. What are we going to do if Rufus really comes to seek trouble? Aren’t you afraid?”

Severin looked indifferent. “Why should I be afraid? Different situations call for different actions. Don’t worry, mom, I’m a different person now!”

He thought about it and said, “Mom, Dad. Why don’t we sell the Chevrolet? I can buy a better car for you two!”

“Don’t. I haven’t got my driving license yet. Besides, we don’t need to drive an expensive car. After I got the license, I can drive the Chevrolet. At least if I accidentally knocked it, I would feel too bad about it,” Maurice answered.

“Huh? What did you say? The Chevrolet is a new car too. What do you mean by you won’t feel bad if you knocked it? I will!” Judith said.

Maurice quickly explained embarrassingly. “I don’t mean that. I mean I will feel even worse if it is an expensive car!”

“That’s more like it!” Judith was satisfied with the answer.

Severin saw his mom’s grey hair. They turned grey because Judith had been worried about him. Mom, why don’t I give you a treatment for your hair two days later? I’m sure it’s going to turn black
