Elsa sprang to her feet at once. She lifted Sherry into her arms, rolling over and placing the girl on the ground gently.
Sherry was pale as a sheet, barely alive. Dorson had started the car, jamming his foot on the accelerator as he sped toward the gates,
He had killed Jordan, and Sherry was going to die soon too. Telford was the only target remaining.
Kim had said from the start that the main target was Jordan, and it was best if the other two were killed too, but they were a secondary priority. This way, Dorson technically completed his mission
As long as he made it out of the Special Forces department, he would be able to camouflage himself using his spirit energy so that no one would be able to find him.
The second he was out of there, he would head into the mountains. He would be able to make it back to his homeland with how strong he was, even if he had to walk.
The thought of being able to go home and reunite with his family put a smile on his face.
After living in Dasha for five years, he was finally going home. The debt he owed Joy Corp was cleared now, and he was a free
man
Just then, another car hit him head–on.
A deafening sound rang through the air as both cars collided with tremendous force. The back end of both cars lifted into the air from the collision before falling back onto the ground with a heavy thud.
Elsa and the rest were in shock. Any normal person would be dead being caught in a car crash like that.
However, Dorson burst through the roof of his car, then turned around and started to make a run for it.
Wilbur broke out of his car as well, launching an attack on Dorson.
Dorson retaliated with an attack of his own, and both spirit attacks clashed in mid–air with an explosive hum
Wilbur landed on the ground. Meanwhile, Dorson rolled backward into the department’s compound as a result of the powerful spirit pressure from colliding attacks.
Wilbur got to his feet and slowly made his way toward Dorson as he frowned. “Who are you?”
Dorson was silent. He steadied his breathing, preparing himself for battle.
Elsa ordered her teammates to fire, but Wilbur stopped her with a hand. “Don’t waste your bullets. He’s not getting away now that I’m here.”
Elsa did as she was told.
She knew that bullets did nothing to a cultivator once they had reached a certain stage, and it was better to catch this guy alive
