Chapter 304
Darlene chuckled. “How many of them do you think you can fend off?”
She whipped her cane, and hundreds of bodies came charging towards Wilbur with a force that was enough to completely overrun him.
Sammy cried out in shock, and Dom’s face paled. Moose did not know what to do either.
Wilbur formed several seals with one hand in their direction, and a barrier rose around them that blocked
the rest of the villagers off.
He wielded his thunder cleaver and began attacking those zombies.
Upon killing that one zombie from just earlier, Wilbur had understood something.
Darlene had wanted all those dead bodies to turn them into zombies.
Everyone in this village was a zombie.
These zombies looked just like regular people but were no longer living and only operated under Darlene’s
command.
These charmed zombies were not only stronger than regular human beings but also had a large amount of poison stored in their bodies.
They did not fear death or pain in the slightest, making them perfect fighting machines that regular people could do nothing about.
Even an army would find it hard to kill them without any weapons of mass destruction.
However, it seemed like Darlene’s zombifying attempts were not always successful.
Otherwise, Moose and the other cultivators would not have to bring so many bodies over every month.
Wilbur was a strong fighter nevertheless, and his combat skills were top–tier.
Despite the zombies flocking toward him, Wilbur and his thunder cleaver darted through the crowd. Not one zombie was able to get too close before they were slaughtered.
However, the zombies would explode automatically after being slain and let out poisonous fog. Within minutes, the fog had spread to around a hundred–meter radius of the battleground.
A regular human being would die from just one breath of the fog, and even an Ambience level cultivator would be poisoned from breathing it in for a prolonged time before eventually dying.
That was what Darlene relied on. She did not even need to attack herself before these zombies killed her
enemies for her.
What she did not know, however, was that Wilbur was practicing the Dragon’s cultivation method. The dragon tribe had been the strongest tribe since a long time ago, almost immune to many fatal things.
Thus, Wilbur did not care about the fog in the slightest as he whipped his cleaver about in battle. Countless zombies collapsed to the ground, exploding into pieces.
The poisonous fog grew thickener and thicker, enveloping the entire village. The zombies continued to howl and shriek, pouncing on Wilbur one after the other.
Darlene stared ahead at the thick poisonous fog and a smile slowly spreading across her wrinkled face.
