The golden hourglass turned over, and there were only ten grace points left in there. The Builder Pill appeared in front of Wilbur.
He took one last wistful glance at the Emperor's Whisper and left the demiplane with the pill in his hand.
Noticing that it was still early, he took the pill at once and began to meditate.
As time passed, Wilbur's body lit up with a myriad of colors as a powerful energy filled his room.
The colorful light finally faded during the evening, and Wilbur slowly opened his eyes.
Overjoyed, he realized that he had leveled up.
After all those years, he was still stuck at the first stage of the Dragon's Chant.
He had meditated tirelessly, and with the help of the Builder Pill, he had broken through to the second stage.
Wilbur could clearly feel that his Dragon Crystal had doubled in size. That meant that he would be able to store even more spirit energy.
On top of that, Wilbur was also able to cast some low to mid-level spells without even muttering any chants. He had become a better fighter too.
Wilbur was overwhelmed with emotion. The Dragon's Chant really was the best cultivation method out there, improving his powers greatly with every advancement.
However, it was undeniable that his journey had been filled with hardships and dangers of cultivation. It also took him a lot of time to reach this point.
Just then, Wilbur's phone rang with a call from Nancy.
"Nancy, I just got ready. Where are you?"
"I'm at home. Shall I go to you?"
"It's fine. I'll just pick you up. Be right there."
Wilbur hung up the phone, got into his car, and drove to where Nancy lived.
He was going to be on his best behavior since he had promised Nancy.
Very soon, he pulled up in front of Nancy's block where she was already waiting.
