It was the girls' first time trying golf too, and they were more than happy to be taught how.
Reggie continued to shower them with praise, and Wade had quite a bit of fun with the three girls.
Wilbur and Nancy remained on the cart, chatting every now and then. Neither of them paid the others any mind.
Soon, Wade swung particularly hard and shot the ball far into the distance.
Everyone else boarded the cart, and the caddy took off toward where the ball had landed.
Just then, Wade said to Nancy, "Why don't you try too? It'll be good for your body."
"I'm sorry, I don't know how to play either," Nancy said politely.
Wade chuckled. "No worries! I'm right here to teach you."
"That's fine," Nancy turned him down.
However, Wade was quite visibly annoyed. He had his eyes on Nancy, but she had spent the entire evening with Wilbur and hardly paid him any attention.
Very soon, the caddy stopped where the ball had landed. Wade hopped off and approached Nancy, reaching out to grab her. "Come on, I'll teach you."
Nancy ducked from his grasp with a frown. "Mister Lynch, I really don't want to play."
"Nancy, just play a game or two with Mister Lynch. It's a hard chance to come by," Reggie piped up from the side.
Nancy scoffed. "Reggie, I would've left a long time ago if it wasn't for the fact that we used to be classmates. Don't keep pushing it, please."
Reggie blushed at once, but Wade flared up in anger. "Who do you think you are? Name me a price. I guarantee you I'll be able to meet your price."
