Wilbur glanced at the man and woman with a frown. "Do you two own this place?"
"We don't, but I can't stand other people being around when I eat! It upsets my appetite," the man said haughtily. The woman next to him tittered as well, her heavy makeup creasing. She seemed to appreciate the man's cockiness.
Wilbur was about to respond when the owner of the cafe came running over. He whispered to Wilbur, "Dude, you should just go. You can't afford to mess with him. Don't get yourself into trouble."
"Trouble is something I don't fear at all," Wilbur replied calmly.
The cafe owner furrowed his brows. He was about to say more when the man stormed over. The man rolled up his sleeves as if gearing up for a fight.
The cafe owner was scared out of his wits and ran to hide at once. Wilbur glanced at Skyler, who immediately understood his intentions. Skyler got to his feet and made his way to the man.
All that man felt was an overwhelming wave of dizziness before he was struck in the face with a sharp punch.
The man collapsed to the floor with a thud. The woman next to him screamed in terror, fleeing at once.
Skyler scoffed, then returned to sit next to Wilbur. Just then, Wilbur said, "Sir, could we have some toast? We're starving."
"How are you still in the mood to eat?" The cafe owner was beside himself in panic. "This guy's a hooligan with over fifty men under him! You're going to be in trouble from this."
"Why are you so scared? Just get us our food, man," Skyler piped up impatiently from the side.
The cafe owner let out a sigh, turning away. He re-emerged with several plates of toast and eggs, which Wilbur and Skyler dug into without another word.
As if some hooligan would even be able to touch them.
Just then, the man on the floor finally regained consciousness. He was in a daze, only realizing what had happened after a long while as he wiped at the blood trickling from his nose and pointed at Wilbur and Skyler viciously. "You bastard! I dare you to stick around. I'll have your head even if it's the death of me."
Wilbur hardly paid the man any mind, and Skyler chuckled. "Well, hurry up, then. We've got somewhere to be after breakfast."
