"What's going on? Can't I get some rest?" asked Wilbur in a displeased tone.

Ryder ran towards the office. Wilbur had no choice but to follow him.

Skyler and Eileen looked at each other and went away.

Ryder was in front of the computer when Wilbur reached the office.

"Sir, according to the orders from headquarters, there has been a supernatural incident in Rivertune City. They instructed you to go and handle it."

"What the hell? A supernatural incident?"

"According to the information, someone murdered three people by sucking their blood dry before escaping. The local police and special agents couldn't handle it, so they applied to transfer the case to the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense.

"F*ck," Wilbur cursed under his breath. However, he had no choice but to comply because he was paid for the job.

He shook his head and said lethargically, "Let's go check it out. I hope it's not too troublesome."

Ryder nodded and carried his suitcase. He went out with Wilbur, and they drove away from Sealake Island.

Rivertune City was located in Kardon Province. It was around two hundred kilometers away from Seechertown. Wilbur got into the car and started his nap as Ryder drove speedily toward Rivertune City.

They arrived after three hours. They saw the three bodies that the special agents squad kept.
