Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 406

Wilbur had no choice but to exit the car. He looked at Jonah. "My good man, I told you not to start any trouble."

"We're not close enough for you to call me that!" Jonah immediately shouted in response.

"What an idiot, he doesn't even know what he's gotten himself into."

"I can't believe he still had the nerve to say that. What a joke."

"Anyone who dares get on Mister Jemson's bad side has a death wish. I'm surprised he doesn't know that."

"Acting all cocky in Rivertune City, does he take us for a joke?"

Everyone mocked and jeered at Wilbur coldly with disdainful expressions on their faces.

The two ladies even covered their mouths from how hard they were giggling, shaking their heads as they looked at Wilbur.

Wilbur could just about guess that all of them came from backgrounds of wealth and power. They were used to getting things their way.

He chuckled at Jonah. "Dude, we just had a little argument. Are you sure this is necessary?"

"This isn't about the argument anymore!" Jonah fumed. "No one in Rivertune City tells me what to do. You'd have been fed to the beasts up that hill if I had pulled the trigger earlier."

Wilbur sighed. "Do your parents know about you acting like this?"

"Who the f*ck do you think you are, talking to me like that?"

"You must be tired of living."

"Do you need me to break your legs to teach you a lesson?"

Wilbur's expression finally darkened. "Get out of the way."

"Trying to leave, are we?" Jonah sneered. "That's not happening today, I'm afraid. We've got a jail cell waiting with your name on it."

"What's the meaning of that?" Wilbur said coldly.
