After the square was empty, Elsa and her team entered the battlefield.
They took one look at the devastating wreckage left behind and huffed in awe.
…
Wilbur and Ryder returned to Sealake Island and got on the bridge.
All of a sudden, a figure appeared within sight screaming for help.
Wilbur turned around. Under the moonlight and bleeding from the corner of her mouth was Gertridge, tripping over her feet as she made her way over.
She leaped off the bridge, landing heavily on Sealake Island.
Behind her, a figure stopped in his tracks before hiding behind the nearest tree.
Wilbur grabbed Ryder's super cannon, firing a shot.
A deafening sound rang through the air, and the tree the figure was standing behind snapped in half. The figure let out a cry of agony, flying over ten meters away and fleeing in a bloody mess.
"Want me to go after him?" Ryder asked.
Wilbur sneered. "This better not happen again, or I swear I'll destroy Riverbank Blossoms."
It was unclear if the wounded figure had heard Wilbur as he disappeared into the night.
Judging from the blood left behind, the assailant was definitely in bad shape, if not dead.
Wilbur tossed the super cannon to Ryder, who said, "You're better with it than I am."
"I haven't used a gun in years," said Wilbur.
Ryder was speechless.
