"Tiger, get your men over here now!"
"Yes!"
Thirty seconds later, Tiger and a group of royal guards hurried over.
Chris Shelby looked directly at Tiger and said, "Someone has planted a timed bomb in the amusement park. Evacuate the crowd immediately and close off the entire park!"
Hearing Chris Shelby's order, Tiger immediately sensed the gravity of the situation.
Without any hesitation, Tiger led his team to evacuate all the people from the amusement park.
Chris turned to Esther and Juliette, "You two go ahead, I'll be fine here alone."
"Okay!"
Esther nodded, her face filled with worry, "Be careful, Chris Shelby!"
"Don't worry, this little problem won't trouble me," Chris Shelby said nonchalantly.
Esther didn't say anything further and immediately followed Juliette out.
In Esther's view, there was nothing in the world that Chris Shelby couldn't handle.
After they left, Chris Shelby's expression turned grave.
Despite his easy words, his face was anything but relaxed.
Glancing at his watch, Chris Shelby noted there were less than twenty seconds until the bomb detonated.
He had to find that bomb!
Though the crowd had been evacuated, an explosion would certainly cause widespread panic across the East Coast.
As the King of East Coast, Chris Shelby could not allow such a catastrophe to happen.
With this thought, he hurriedly searched for the bomb.
A moment later, he spotted a suspicious object beneath a slide.
Chris walked over quickly and noticed something flashing below the slide.
Looking closer, he indeed found a timed bomb.
His expression turned extremely grim.
If he hadn't evacuated the people in time, countless children might have been killed in the blast.
For ordinary people, defusing a bomb was a perilous task, but for Chris Shelby, it was child's play.
After all, as the Amerosia Primus, he'd seen all manner of bombs on the battlefield over the years.
The bomb was quickly disarmed by Chris Shelby.
After disarming the bomb, Chris breathed a sigh of relief.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Just as he disarmed the bomb, a sudden burst of gunfire rang out.
Chris's expression darkened, and he quickly took cover.
Moments later, bullets struck where Chris Shelby had just been standing.
His face grew somber; he hadn't expected that the assailant had also deployed a sniper.
Not only had they hired an assassin to kill Esther and planted a bomb in the amusement park, but all those were just to distract him.
The real threat was the sniper positioned nearby.
"Protect our lord!"
Tiger shouted loudly, and numerous royal guards quickly surrounded Chris Shelby.
At the same time, Chris scanned the surroundings.
He spotted a figure on the rooftop of a nearby building.
Whoosh!
Seeing this, Chris Shelby didn't hesitate and charged towards it.
On the rooftop, the sniper's face showed regret.
He was a top assassin from the Shadow Alliance, skilled in sniping.
He had thought his shot would be fatal, but Chris had effortlessly dodged his bullets.
Now, the sniper was filled with regret.
If he had known he was attempting to kill Death, he would have never accepted the mission.
Damn it, the person who issued the bounty hadn't mentioned that they were targeting Death!
Actually, it wasn't that Michael Collins had withheld information; even he didn't know Chris Shelby's real identity.
Michael Collins only knew that Chris Shelby was the King of the East Coast.
Neither Amerosia Primus nor General Death were known to him.
If Michael Collins had revealed Chris Shelby's identity as Death, probably no one would have taken on the mission.
However, regardless of the sniper's regrets, it was too late.
There's no medicine for regret in this world.
Actions always have consequences!
Crack!
A crisp sound.
Chris Shelby didn't waste words and simply snapped the sniper's neck.
The assassin's eyes widened, dying with a look of disbelief.
Chris ignored the corpse, just left it there, and pulled out his phone to call a number.
At the same time, far away in a medieval castle, a man clad in black, exuding a murderous aura, sat on a black throne.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Picking up the phone, the man's pupils abruptly constricted.
He hadn't expected this devil to call him, and didn't know what Chris wanted.
After hesitating for a moment, the man answered the phone.
"Death, what brings you to call me?"
Chris Shelby was blunt: "Slayer, are you tired of living? Continuously trying to assassinate my wife, do you believe I will come right now to your Shadow Alliance headquarters and personally twist off your head?"
