Lost Me, Gained Regret (Jane and Bryant Ferguson) novel Chapter 759

Grandma Clarkson had a soft spot for her iced lattes, a detail some might mistake as a sign of a gentle, easygoing old lady.

But, alas, she was anything but.

Her fondness for iced lattes was merely a quirk, one that never swayed her judgment or decisions.

She then turned to Dailey, "I appreciate the iced latte, dear, but let's be realistic. You have your influence because you carry the Clarkson name."

"Even if you believe you can stand on your own, leaving the Clarkson name behind, we won't let that happen. You're the last of the Clarksons. We didn't raise you to turn against us, but to carry on the Clarkson legacy."

Dailey had never before considered breaking away from the Clarksons.

He knew his duty to carry on the Clarkson name and was well aware of the advantages it brought him.

But now...
