Isaac used to be a tyrant in school, so no one dared to offend him and

Jonathan.

People usually formed teams of five for laser tag, so now that they had to

split into two large teams, it didn’t feel as fun anymore.

Also, in team activities, no one wanted to be on the same team as tyrants; it

Claudette also found the two annoying. If Emmanuel weren’t around, she

Beatrix, however, was smart enough. When she heard Jonathan saying that,

she knew that the two wanted to join her team at all costs so that they could 

flirt with the pretty women in all sorts of ways.

Hence, she raised her hand and shouted on purpose, “Alright, then we’ll split

into two teams. Anyone who wants to join our team, come and stand behind

us!”

In an instant, more than 20 people stood behind them.

It was not an unexpected outcome. All three divas were on that team, so

everyone would want to be on their team.

As for the remaining two, why didn’t they join?

That was because they were Isaac and Jonathan!

If they joined as well, it would be a team of 30 versus none. They would win by

default, so they didn’t even have to play!

Jonathan and Isaac could feel the cold wind breezing past them. The

atmosphere turned extremely awkward once again.

Jonathan and Isaac weren’t fools. They knew no one wanted to be on their

side, so their expressions darkened. “Fine, we’ll form a team of two. All of you

will regret this!” 

Jonathan was mad from embarrassment, and he left right after saying that.

Isaac’s friendship with Jonathan was too strong, so he could only grit his

teeth and follow Jonathan.

After the two unpopular guys were gone, the remaining 28 people felt the

match would be too dull if to be proceeded as such, so they ignored the two

and divided themselves into seven groups. It was just right for every team to

bag for Elizabeth so that the latter would help her distract Beatrix.

Beatrix was a smart person, so of course, she knew about that, too.

Though, she didn’t plan on intercepting them. After all, her mission was to

help their grandfather stimulate Mackenzie, particularly in the jealousy

department, so that she would realize how much she liked Emmanuel.
