Love beyond the mask (Whitney) novel Chapter 341

Whitney stifled a giggle, trying to move away, but he swiftly spun her around and pressed her against the railing, trapping her with his long arms on either side. She found herself cornered by his commanding presence and the pronounced lines of his collarbone under his shirt, making her uneasy.

Her eyes, shimmering like the ocean, turned cold as she pushed him away. “What are you doing?”

“Take it off.”

Whitney, exasperated, stood on tiptoe and pouted as she removed the small piece of clothing.

Once his vision cleared, Ludwik realized just how close he had gotten to her.

So close, it felt as though he had enveloped her in his arms, his chest and arms pressing tightly against her.

A tingling sensation shot through his spine, darkening his gaze.

“Let go of me, you jerk,” Whitney pushed against him, clearly annoyed.

She struggled, her movements causing friction against his belt. The incident in the bathroom had already set him off, and his frustration hadn’t subsided.

Ludwik’s voice was a low warning, “Trying to seduce me again? Have you forgotten I’m a man? Had enough of playing hard to get?”

Whitney froze, quickly realizing the implication.

Her ears turned red as she kicked him away. “How am I seducing you? If I were playing hard to get, it certainly wouldn’t be with you. Aren’t other men more appealing?”

Before she could finish, Whitney suddenly noticed Sammy walking into the living room, the bandage on his throat evident as he removed his mask.

Whitney’s eyes widened, and she quickly pulled Ludwik back. “Wait...!”

Her grip was tight, her panic causing her hand to accidentally brush against the front of his shirt.

“Ouch.” Maybe it was a sensitive spot, as Ludwik looked down, his gaze darkening.

“Whitney...are you asking for it?” His voice was a low growl, his body tensing.

Whitney, belatedly realizing her action, withdrew her hand as if scorched, her face flushing.

Her heart raced, especially when she saw what was under his shirt, turning even redder. “I, I...”

“It wasn’t on purpose?” Ludwik’s dark eyes mocked, his voice teasingly sensual. “First below in the bathroom, now above? Still claiming no seduction, huh?”

Whitney was on the verge of tears, glancing sideways to see Sammy hadn’t left, and Danny peeking from the bedroom door.

Those two little rascals, she felt like dying.

Ludwik lifted her chin, his breath hot on her face, his gaze slowly filling with desire.

Really, he couldn’t help it, nor did he want to.

“Sweetheart, you’re the one who gave me the chance...”

His voice was husky, and he leaned in to kiss her.

It started with a brush, then a bite, until she involuntarily opened her mouth, and he delved deeper...

The kiss was fierce, consuming.

Pinning her hands, pressing her against the railing, she couldn’t move.

“Mmm...mmm...” Whitney was initially stunned, watching her son, unable to struggle, blank for a few seconds until his tongue entwined with hers...

She abruptly came to her senses, kissed by this man until her heart trembled. It was just a kiss, yet his strength...

It overwhelmed her; he knew her too well, his scent, his technique, his dominance, all etched in her memory.

Her soul might resist, but her body responded to him. Damn, she had lied; he wasn’t unskilled.

Instead... Whitney’s legs grew weaker, her struggle intense, her blushing face visible even in the night.

“So impatient, huh?” He teased, pressing against her leg, making her unable to stand.

Ludwik chuckled, pulling the hem of her dress.

“No.” Whitney was furious.

In the living room, Danny was stunned.

They heard a dispute between their dad and mom. Sammy worriedly came to check and to get some medicine.
