Love Has its Will by Selena Lewis novel Chapter 48

Chapter 48

It was the hospital calling. The phone ended with Brandon’s cursing, and he became annoyed after the phone.

“Winnie is missing. She is pregnant and has difficulties walking. If you are worried about her, go with me. We must find her.”

Before Savanna could answer him, Brandon grabbed her arm and left the hotel.

Hearing that Winnie was missing, Savanna stopped talking.

Although she hated Winnie, Savanna sincerely did not want anything to happen to Winnie. After all, half of their blood was the same.

Brandon and Savanna rushed to the hospital. When the nurse saw Brandon, she cried even harder. The nurse sobbed and said,

“I left for medicine. When I returned, the patient had disappeared. I searched downstairs, upstairs, and the restroom. However, I found her nowhere. I’m so sorry, Mr. Cassel.”

“What’s the use of apologizing? Is this how you take care of patients?” Brandon couldn’t control his anger and snapped,

“What’s the use of scolding her? Go and find Winnie now!” Savanna reminded.

Brandon then began to make calls and used all his connections in Ireland to find Winnie.

He checked the hospital’s surveillance video and saw Winnie had left the ward in a metal wheelchair and entered the elevator. The elevator slowly moved to the bottom floor, and no one came out of the elevator.

They searched for a whole day and a whole night but still didn’t get Winnie, as if she had vanished into thin air.

Brandon and Savanna returned to the hotel. Neither of them had the mood to communicate due to Winnie’s disappearance. Brandon called the police. Late at night, the police called him back, “Mr. Cassel, we found her. Please come to the police station.”

Brandon grabbed his coat and buttoned up his suit as he turned to Savanna, “Come with me.”

But Savanna didn’t move and had no intention of moving.

Brandon stopped and ordered coldly, “Savanna, go with me.”

Savanna did not want to provoke the angry Brandon, so she followed Brandon and left the hotel to the police station, although she had been extremely tired.

When the Irish policeman saw Brandon, he said seriously.

“Mr. Cassel, I’m sorry.”

Brandon furrowed and said, “Please, what happened to her?”

The policeman took them to the interrogation room, and behind the glass, there were several men. The policeman pointed to the men and said,

“They violated Ms. Landis. If we had come later, I’m afraid, Ms. Landis would have died.”

Brandon’s eyes trembled, and his expression changed aggressively. Brandon grabbed the collar of the policeman, stared at the policeman with his cold eyes, and questioned.

“Are you sure it’s Winnie?”

“Yes.”

The policeman was frightened by Brandon’s aura. He removed Brandon’s hands from his collar and found a photo of Winnie on his phone. There was a woman in the photo with disheveled clothes and messy hair. Several men were on her. The scene was obscene and horrible.

Brandon’s figure swayed as if he couldn’t find his consciousness for a moment.

And his lips turned pale in an instant.

Brandon soon turned from sorrow to fury. He raised his fists and was about to rush in. Brandon wanted to defeat those hooligans soundly, but the policeman stopped him. The policeman said, “Mr. Cassel, calm down, please.”

Brandon then realized that he had lost control and tried to calm himself down. After a few seconds,

Brandon asked in a trembling voice.

“Where is Winnie?”

“We called the hospital, and they took her to the hospital. She is in bad condition and needs a comprehensive examination.”

Brandon pointed at the figures in the interrogation room and ordered, with his voice as sharp as a knife,

“None of those bastards can be spared.”

“Of course.”

Brandon left the police station in a huff after getting the policeman’s promise.
