Chapter 278 Damien Is Extremely Manipulative

The next morning, Damien had already gone to work by the time Clarissa got out of bed.

She remembered that she had yoga classes every afternoon, so she didn‘t know if Yvonne had changed the class schedule due to New East Corporation‘s working hours.

Clarissa: (Ms. Yvonne. Now that New East Corporation is back on business, should we tweak the class schedule?)

Instead of replying to her message, Damien decided to call her right away. “James and Mr. Lark are here to meet you. Just come over.”

She knew those two intended to butter Damien up, so they were definitely not there for her. Then again, since Damien used her as an excuse, she still had to pay the company a visit,

Clarissa quickly ate brunch before hitching a ride with Leah to New East Corporation at eleven o‘clock.

Mrs. Faber opted not to follow her. Leah was with Clarissa during the journey, and Damien would be with her at the company. Instead, the older woman decided to start preparing dinner at home.
