Chapter 278 Damien Is Extremely Manipulative

The next morning, Damien had already gone to work by the time Clarissa got out of bed.

She remembered that she had yoga classes every afternoon, so she didn‘t know if Yvonne had changed the class schedule due to New East Corporation‘s working hours.

Clarissa quickly ate brunch before hitching a ride with Leah to New East Corporation at eleven o‘clock.

Mrs. Faber opted not to follow her. Leah was with Clarissa during the journey, and Damien would be with her at the company. Instead, the older woman decided to start preparing dinner at home.

Since Clarissa had mentioned Janet, James and Mr. Lark decided to go with the flow. Then, they signed the contract with the audit department of New East Corporation.

Both Lucas and Janet were grateful to Clarissa.

They were all experienced veterans in the office culture, so they knew exactly what Damien wanted them to do. Since he wanted them to be grateful to Clarissa, that was what they would do.
