Chapter 354 Unexpected Loss After Penelope walked out of the living room in Damien’s mansion, she went to the courtyard.
Just then, Mrs. Faber was spotted carrying a heavy box out of the garage.
Penelope was surprised to see that box. It was the box of items she had bought for Clarissa, so she could recognize it.
Mrs. Faber looked like she was having a hard time carrying it, so it was obvious there were things inside the box. Also, the original seal was still on the box, which meant the items within were never used before.
Penelope couldn’t help but grit her teeth in anger. She went through so much effort just to pick out the perfect items for Clarissa, only to be disregarded by the latter
Penelope had already promised Clarissa that she wouldn’t do anything to the items she gifted her, but the latter refused to believe her.
“Mr. Moore, please give me a moment I accidentally left my lipstick back in the living room,” she piped up all of a sudden.
After that, she returned to the living room.
Mrs. Faber was the one who opened the door for her.
The first thing Penelope saw was Clarissa and Damien making out on the couch.
Damien’s arm was wrapped around Clarissa’s waist, a mischievous smile curled on his lips. He seemed to be saying something to her. As for the latter, she kept blushing and playing coy with her man
The pearl necklace was already absent from her neck.
“Ah! Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence, I can’t seem to find my lipstick. Did I leave it on the couch?” Penelope asked. After that, she started looking for the missing lipstick by sticking her fingers through the gaps of the couch
Damien kept staring at her the whole time.
“Darn it, I can’t find it at all! I’m so sorry for ruining your intimate moment! Curses! I really should be careful. Goodbye then, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence!” After that, Penelope quickly spun on her heel and left while looking very apologetic. As she walked out of the main entrance, she felt a wave of fury hitting her.
