Chapter 46 Sleeping in His Class! After he got out of the car, Damien entered the villa with the umbrella in hand.

Clarissa, who had just exited Grandpa Lawrence’s room, entered Damien’s room. “Did you get your stuff back yet?” Damien asked.

“Not yet. Carrying luggage around is going to be a hassle if you kick me out again,” Clarissa

said.

And with the diary in the luggage, it would be safer in the bedroom. “Here’s your umbrella. Also, you’ll be spending your night in the room next door.” Damien handed the umbrella to Clarissa.

That left Clarissa feeling confused and wronged.

“You don’t want it? I had my friend buy it from another country just for you!” Clarissa exclaimed, lifting her head to look at Damien straight in the eyes. It pained her to recall the time her dad suffered from pneumonia.

Damien put the umbrella on the bed, not saying anything

The silence seemed to be saying, ‘I don’t need it.’

Clarissa had no idea what Madelynn told Damien, so much that it caused a huge shift in his attitude.

“Fine!” Clarissa said through clenched teeth, infuriated. “Since you’re so ungratelul, enjoy your time in the rain!”

After knowing that he had been influenced by Madelynn, Clarissa couldn’t stop herself from being harsh. “Clari-ssa!” Damien yelled hoarsely, shocked at her attitude. However, Clarissa just left the room without bothering to turn back. It was probably a good idea to sleep separately. At the very least, she could get a break from a night with Damien. That day, she didn’t even have dinner.

She lay in bed for half of the day, ruminating on Damien’s sudden change and why it happened. He returned the umbrella to her, but why?

The only possibility she could think of was that Madelynn had been provoking him, telling him the umbrella was fake.

That angered Clarissa almost instantly. ‘Why does he have to listen to her every single time?!’

‘Is everything she said the truth?

The following day was the training of Stars of New East the next day. Clarissa, who passed the audition, was to attend.
