Love or Die: CEO’ s Daily Dose of Swoon (Cordelia) novel Chapter 210

Lucy and Ronnie were stunned the moment they saw them, immediately straightening up.

The nearby teacher asked, “Mr. Thompson, heading to check out the exam hall?”

Frank grinned, “Just an old buddy I’m here to see.”

He reached the doorway but didn’t disturb anyone inside. After signaling the teachers to keep quiet, he peered inside.

The large exam hall, filled with hundreds of students, looked more like an auditorium at first glance.

The seats, arranged in ascending order towards the back, were filled with a sea of heads that could make anyone’s eyes swim.

Finding Cordelia in this crowd was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

He was about to give up and leave when suddenly, he spotted two students standing at the very back.

They were too far away to see clearly, but he noticed one of the girls wearing a blue tracksuit. He didn’t think much of it and casually asked, “Why are some folks standing for the exam?”

Lucy and Ronnie exchanged glances. Ronnie was about to say something when Lucy chimed in, “Ah, some of the kids think they're too good for this place. Making them stand to take the exam should knock them down a peg.”

Frank didn’t dwell on it.

Everyone attending the Autumn Gold Academic Challenge was a top student from their region, so a bit of arrogance was to be expected. With so many bright minds in one place, it’s natural for some tensions to arise.

He nodded and followed the teacher towards the office area, “When do they finish up?”

The teacher replied, “In about an hour. Do you need something?”

“Nothing urgent.”

Frank settled down in the office, “Show me your future study plans.”

He wasn’t too concerned with the local math competitions back home; those were child's play to him. But he respected that others might take them seriously, so he decided not to disturb Cordelia during her exam.

Cordelia, though slim, was always physically strong. Standing to take the test didn’t make it easy to concentrate, but she had always been good at multitasking, so the exam was not too challenging for her.

It was surprising, though, that Keen could stand for three hours straight without breaking a sweat. After handing in their papers, when everyone was curious about how he did, he nonchalantly mentioned he had finished everything, drawing everyone’s attention.

The morning was spent in exams, and after handing in their papers around eleven, the teachers allowed some free time. Everyone planned to review for an hour before heading to the cafeteria for lunch.

Cordelia had just settled back at her desk when Daisy and a few others started making faces at her, “Hey, genius, what’s the deal with you and Keen?”

Cordelia was puzzled, “What do you mean?”

Daisy smirked, “Like, what’s your relationship?”

Cordelia replied, “...From the same region?”

The group prodded further, “That’s it?”

“Yep.”

They weren’t convinced, “Come on, don’t play dumb with us. The brainiac stood at the back for the whole exam just for you. There’s definitely something special going on!”

Cordelia clarified, “He stood because he felt sleepy, right?”

The group was baffled, not following her logic.

As they were pondering, Daisy nudged Cordelia and gestured for her to look around. Just then, a voice called from behind, “Cordelia.”

She turned to see Keen approaching.

Daisy quickly pulled the others aside, “We’ll just be over here reading, you two chat~”

Cordelia was flustered for a moment before turning to Keen, “What’s up?”
