Love or Die: CEO’ s Daily Dose of Swoon (Cordelia) novel Chapter 232

Waldron was visibly shocked, blurting out, "What now?"

The staff member explained, "We've got all the evidence we need. We're here to take her in for questioning, and after that, she'll be stripped of her eligibility to participate in the Math League. She'll also receive a formal warning."

Queenie's eyes went wide, and she stumbled back a step, catching the staff member's attention.

Daisy glanced from the staff member to Queenie, then pointed at her and declared, "That's Queenie!"

After Queenie was escorted away, the office fell into an eerie silence. Everyone turned to Everard, unable to believe what had just happened. Everyone except Frankie, who was in on the secret, was utterly baffled.

How did Everard know Queenie had messed up?

Daisy voiced everyone's confusion, "How did you know?"

Everard replied, "…I was just guessing. Can't believe it actually was true."

Everyone was lost for words.

Daisy had an epiphany, "I knew it! How could you possibly know what's going on with the Math League?"

Apart from Frankie, it seemed no one doubted Everard's words.

As they made their way back to the classroom from the office, Cordelia turned to Frankie, "Did you come here for me?"

Daisy and the others were puzzled, but Cordelia understood.

It was clear Frankie wasn't here to sort out anything related to Everard. After all, he had no clue when he walked in, the story about the special assignment teacher was just a smokescreen Frankie had used.

Sigh, Mathster was always so considerate.

Frankie glanced at Everard, replying, "No worries, just checking in."

In reality, after Cordelia had briefed him on Lucille's situation, he had planned to intervene. However, upon arriving at the Math League, he found out Lucille was already under investigation.

His visit today was to find out if Cordelia knew who had helped her.

But now, seeing Mr. Watkins… everything clicked into place. Was there even a need to ask?

However, it seemed Lia was unaware that Mr. Watkins was the same renowned figure from the Pioneers Group, Mr. All-Round?

Ah, the identities some legends hide behind!

Seeing Frankie's casual response, Cordelia just nodded.

Beside Cordelia, Daisy was still in shock, "Wait, Mr. Watkins is really your boyfriend?"

Cordelia glanced at Everard and nodded.

Daisy clasped her hands over her heart, "Oh my god, I just looked it up, and Mr. Watkins was only 13 years old twelve years ago! He was competing in the IMO back then, a true genius! What were you doing at 13, Lia?"

What was she doing at thirteen?

Cordelia thought for a moment, "I was self-studying piano and calculus."

Daisy was speechless.

Before she could turn to Keen, he chimed in, "At thirteen, I was competing in the middle school Math League. Came first in the country."

Daisy took a step back, feeling outclassed. She was talented, but hearing their stories made her realize there's always someone better.

Why did she torture herself by comparing? No wonder Lia only hangs out with prodigies!

As she pondered, Keen turned to Everard, "Since you're here as a special assignment teacher, I have a few questions I'd like to discuss with you."

His tone carried a hint of challenge.

Everyone had assumed he was just Cordelia's non-academic boyfriend, but he was actually the legend from twelve years ago?
