The bodyguard carefully placed Henry on the bed, and he started walking outside without saying a word.
Quinn ran to him, and she told him to stop.
"Where are you going? Aren't we doing anything to help him?" She asked, and he looked at her for a few seconds before he opened his mouth to speak.
"He'll wake up really soon, he just needs rest. You should stay with him." He said, and he closed the door without saying anything else to Quinn.
Quinn sighed, and she went over to Henry, and sat down on a chair that was beside the bed.
That image made them look as if they were in a hospital and Quinn was watching over him.
She bent her head towards him to see if he was okay, and if he was breathing fine. He was.
When she was sure of that, she looked at his hand, and took it into hers. She started rubbing her thumb against his hard fingers, and she smiled at him, even though she was sure that he couldn't see her.
She continued doing that, until she was tired of it. She dropped his hand, and randomly touched her face.
She wasn't disappointed to see that she didn't hold her mask, she had expected it to fall down with the way they were rushing to bring Henry home.
Quinn was really tired of everything, and she just wanted to lay her head on the bed and rest.
She looked at Henry again, before she finally succumbed to the voice in her head that was telling her to just rest her head for a minute.
She placed her head on the bed, just beside Henry's hand, and she closed her eyes, but now before she held his hand.
An hour later, Henry slowly opened his eyes, and he tried taking the view in.
At first, he didn't understand what was happening and where he was, because the last thing he could remember was him...
He raised his hand to touch his head, and he saw that someone was holding on to his second hand.
Henry looked down, and he was a little bit shocked to see the sexy dancer holding on to his hand, while sleeping.
He didn't know why he couldn't just stop looking at her, even though he really wanted to stop.
She's really beautiful. He observed. He slowly removed his hand from her grip, and he continued staring at her.
Henry tried thinking about why he passed out, and a faint memory of it creeped into his head.
He was with her, and she removed her mask, that was when he passed out...
He could also remember that when she removed her mask, so many blurry memories appeared in his head.
What could possibly be the connection between the both of us? He asked himself, and a sigh escaped his mouth.
He really didn't understand what was going on, and he just knew that overthinking would just make it worse. So, he decided to just shun all thoughts concerning that.
Henry still wanted to rest a little more before she woke up, because his head was still banging a bit.
The moment his head touched the pillow, Quinn slowly woke up from her deep sleep.
She groaned inwardly, as she raised her head from the bed. She started mentally insulting herself for sleeping off.
Quinn was about to check on Henry to see if he was okay, when her eyes met with Henry's.
She was a bit surprised, so she averted her gaze from his face.
Henry was waiting for her to speak first, because he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable or anything.
"Uh-" he started saying, but he was interrupted by her. She was also about to speak.
"Are-" she said, and stopped. She tilted her head to look at him. She nodded at him to start speaking, but he made a sign for her to start speaking in response.
"Okay, okay." She said while she was laughing, and Henry also started laughing.
"I was asking if you were fine. Are you okay now?" She asked, and she threw a small smile at him.
Henry took a deep breath in before he decided to answer her. He didn't know if he wanted to tell her the truth, which was that he was feeling a headache at the side of his head, or he just wanted to lie, and say that he was fine.
He settled for the latter, and told her that he was fine.
"You don't look fine though." Quinn said to him, and she squinted her eyes at him. Henry stared at her with his wide eyes, wondering how she knew that he was lying.
"Have we met before? Like before now." Henry asked, and a second later, he answered his own question. "We have, right?" He asked, and Quinn continued staring at him.
"Are you serious?" She asked him, and he nodded in response. She was surprised that he didn't even remember her at all.
At some point, she deeply felt like he was pretending, but after scanning his face for a while, she finally realised that he wasn't pretending. He really couldn't remember her at all.
She knew that explaining everything to him at that moment, would just get him more worried, so she decided to just keep the truth to herself for a while.
"No, we just met for the first time today." Quinn slowly said, and she looked away from him.
Henry nodded at her, and he started pondering over what she said.
"I'm sorry for barging into your house without your permission." Quinn suddenly said, snapping Henry out of his thoughts.
"Barge? You didn't barge into my house. You came in, because you had to." Henry said, and he scanned her face for a little while.
Quinn stopped looking at him, and she looked down. She could still hear the way the owner of her one-room apartment asked her to leave the next day, because he wanted to rent it out to someone with a bigger bargain.
She raised her head and her eyes met his. She really didn't know how to tell him that she really wants to start living with him in his house.
