Chapter 106 

When Jenna heard the bell ringing. She quickly rushed downstairs from Alexia’s bedroom to open the door for the person outside but she let out a large scream as soon as she did. 

In front of her was her friend who had blood spilling from her mouth onto her clothes. “Oh my God Alexia! What is happening?” Jenna yelled frantically. She held Alexia’s already cold body against hers and helped her inside. 

Jenna had no idea what was going on. She ran to get water from the freezer and tried to give it to Alexia but it didn’t help at all because it only made her spill more blood. Jenna had never been so confused and scared at the same time before. 

She hurriedly dialed the werewolf hospital’s emergency number and immediately they answered. Jenna bombarded them with screams of help and cries. 

Alexia was already out cold on the chair with her body cold and stiff, her lips had turned blue and the sight of it only Jenna cried more. She never stopped dialing the emergency number untill they arrived their residence.

Jenna watched in tears how her friend was pulled onto the stretcher by the doctors. She could swear Alexia was alright when they spoke on the phone few minutes before she arrived. What then happened? 

“Will she be alright?” Jenna demanded from the man who was asking her some questions. “From the looks of it. It is hard to say.” The man replied. She was told to stay back and call some relatives but Jenna refused to just stay at home while her friend was in the hospital and besides her brothers would kill her if they found out she didn’t stay with Alexia. 

She went with the ambulance to the hospital and stood outside the ward Alexia was rushed into. When the doctors recognized who Alexia was, they wasted no time in attending to her. 

As her friend was being attended to, Jenna tried to reach out to her brothers. Since they were yet to be mated to Alexia, they can’t know what is happening with her unless they are close to wherever she is, 

“Hi babe, What’s up?” Came Axiel’s reply from the phone when Jenna called him. Axiel is Jenna’s mate and he is the Alpha of the grey wolves pack. He is the second most powerful Alpha of the clan following both Micheal and Miles. Though they were always not on good terms, much respect is still given to both parties by each other. 

Despite the fact that it should have been her brothers she had to call before anyone, Jenna choose to call her mate instead. 

“I am not good, Where are you right now?” She told him with a shaky voice. “I am currently on my way to a meeting, What’s wrong?” Axiel replied back, sounding worried. 

“It’s Alexia, something is wrong with her but I don’t know what it is. She is currently in the hospital now.” Jenna cried onto. the phone, “Hey it’s okay, I will speak to Micheal to come over to the hospital now.” Axiel assured Jenna and told her to calm down. 

“Thank you Axiel, I love you.”

too.” He replied and they both disconnected the call. 

The doctor finally came out of the wardroom with a worried look on her face, “Her condition is serious, thank goodness you called immediately you saw her like that, else she would have been dead a long time ago.” She explained to Jenna. 

“What exactly happened?” Jenna demanded. “Your friend was poisoned with a wolfsbane, Do you know what it is?” Jenna’s eyes widened at the revelation. Of course she knew what a wolfsbane was and how deadly it was to werewolves. How could Alexia had come in contact with it? 

Jenna was beginning to get confused, few minutes before the incident, her friend was fine but now she is suddenly poisoned with wolfsbane? 

“Did she go anywhere suspicious or eat anything strange?” The doctor asked Jenna who shook her head in denial. “I arrived at the house before she did, I even called her on the phone to get ice cream on the way, she sounded so fine.” Jenna explained with teary eyes. 

“Calm down, we managed to stop her bleeding but she needs to shift into her werewolf form to recover fully. But that can only happen if she gets a full time rest. 

“Oh shit!” Jenna exclaimed much to the doctor’s surprise, “What is it?” The doctor demanded. “Alexia can’t transition into her wolf form, She’s hasn’t done that yet.” Jenna told the woman. 

“We have a huge problem then.” The doctor said with a worried look. “The poison will spread to all parts of her body if she doesn’t take control of her body soon. She added. 

“What do we do now, and it isn’t a full moon yet. Jenna asked with a shaky voice. “We have to make her transition, with the serum. The doctor said with a sigh.
