He watched as Ray’s eyes widened in shock and surprised. He too could not believe it the first time when he smelt her scent. But he is now convinced of it. 

And truthfully, he is happy that he got a mate like Alexia. He won’t have to deal with that evil and cunning Kayla again. 

Ray looked at Miles and Micheal with his mouth wide open. He could not believe that his daughter whom he had always neglected suddenly became the mate of two powerful people. It just did not make any sense at all. 

“L…what is going on here? How come she’s your mate? You know that she can’t even shift right? How can she be your mate when she’s a wolf that can’t shift?” Ray asked. He was unwilling to believe this. It’s one thing that Kayla was rejected and is now in the underground dungeon, but how can Alexia be the mate of the alphas? 

“We’ve already confirmed it. We don’t need you to remind us that she can’t shift. She’s so much better than Kayla who’s always plotting behind people’s backs. Kayla is such a cuniting wolf. Did you not know about this all this time or did you just condone her behavior because you don’t really mind if she hurts someone?” Micheal asked.

He knows that he hasn’t treated her well all these years. What if she tells Miles and Micheal all about it and the both of them decide to take revenge. 

They already put Kayla in prison without any regards for him. If they know all about what Alexia has been through, won’t they do worse to him and Kayla? 

“Alexia is now our mate and she’s going to become the Luna. We will do everything that we can to protect her. We won’t talk about all the things that Kayla may have done to her in the past, but we saw this one happen. There’s no way that we will ignore it. Your daughter needs to be taught a lesson so she knows her place!” Miles said. He has no thought of letting Kayla go easily. 

Ray sighed. “So, you people aren’t going to let Kayla go at all? You are just going to leave her there to suffer?” Ray asked. 

“She deserves even more than that. She can be so mean to her sister. What will she do to wolves who are not related to you? We need to keep her in the dungeon so that she doesn’t become a menace to society” Micheal said. 

Ray got up. He knew that his visit here today is just a waste. Miles and Michael are not going to listen to him at all. 

He had barely taken a few steps when Micheal stopped him. 

“Do you really not care about Alexia at all? She’s in the hospital right now. Aren’t you going to see her?” Micheal asked. 

Ray turned to face Micheal with a sneer on his face. Obviously, he didn’t care about Alexia at all. In fact, he really could not care less if anything happened to her. 

“I trust that the both of you are going to protect her since she’s now your mate. I don’t need to be there” Ray said. He would spend his time thinking of how to get Kayla out of the dungeon. He will never let Kayla live the rest of his life there.

Micheal huffed after Ray was gone. “What is the meaning of that? Alexia is his daughter! They are both his daughters! Does he really not care just because one of them can’t shift? Is this how a father is supposed to behave?” Micheal asked. 

Ray’s attitude really upset him. He felt forry for Alexia. Why did she have to be born to her father?! It’s not her fault that she Whas a dormant wolf! Why can’t her father show her half the care that he shows kayla. 

Miles did not lose his temper like Micheal but he too was boiling in anger. He has never seen such a biased father in his life. Kayla committed a crime and he is still trying to protect her. 

Alexia didn’t do anything and he still doesn’t want to go see her in the hospital. Is all of this just because she can’t shift? What kind of a father does this? 

“Ray…..that man is really something. I thought that he’d feel some remorse for what Kayla did but he doesn’t care. He still wants us to let her off. Even if I was thinking about forgiving Kayla before, I won’t do it now because of her father. I can see. why Kayla is so brazen as to do the things that she’s done. It’s because she has her father behind her. That man doesn’t care about his other daughter, only Kayla” miles said 

It’s a good thing that they had discovered Alexia before things got too late. It’s also a good thing that she’s now their fated. mate. From now on they will do everything to protect her from her father and every other person who wants to hurt her. 

“Don’t tell anyone else that she has a dormant wolf Miles suddenly said. 

Micheal looked at Miles. “Why do we have to do that? As long as we can trigger her wolf, it will prove everyone wrong. Why can’t we say it?” Micheal asked.
