“Well, she’s a wolf who can’t even shift. She doesn’t have a wolf yet. Ray is embarrassed because of her…. I’d be embarrassed too if I had a daughter who can’t shift. So he doesn’t talk about her much. I can understand that, the elder said. 

Micheal and Miles frowned. They were both very angry. They both did not think that Alexia was someone that they had to be ashamed of. 

Although she can’t shift, there’s a certain strength in her that just can’t be ignored. 

No matter what she’s been through, she’s always been able to hold on to her innocence and goodness. 

She doesn’t let anything affect her at all. She’s a wonderful she wolf, even better than Kayla, who let’s jealousy clouds all of her good judgement

The elders looked at each other in shock. Of course they weren’t expecting something like this. 

“Beta Ray didn’t tell us any of this. He didn’t tell us that his daughter did all of this to her own sister.” 

“Of course he didn’t tell you about it. He didn’t want you to know about the stuff that his favorite daughter had done. Alexia, Kayla’s sister, ended up in the hospital because of the way she was beaten up. We had Kayla arrested because of what she did. 

But Ray pressured Alexia even though she was sick and made her get Kayla out of jail. 

Kayla does whatever she wants because her father is the former Beta. She thinks that she’s better than every other she wolf. There’s 

is no way we can let that happen.” Micheal said. 

They were okay with it when they didn’t know who Kayla was. But now that they know, they aren’t going to make that 

mistake.

Miles and Michael looked at each other before their eyes focused on the elders. 

“What do you mean? Miles asked. 

“Well, you are now the Alphas. You can’t just stay without a mate. You need to find your new mate as soon as possible and make her your Luna” The elders said. 

Micheal and Miles gave each other a knowing look again. They didn’t want to tell the elders about Alexia yet because they know that the elders aren’t going to accept her just yet. But it seems that they don’t have a choice now. 

“Yes, you need to find your next mate and make her the Luna as soon as possible” 

“The thing is we already found our mate. We found her a long time ago” Micheal said. 

“What?! You found your mate? And you didn’t even think about telling us at all? What exactly is going on here? Why did you keep such an important news away from us?” 

“Yeah, we need to make her your Lama as soon as possible! Who’s she anyway? Is she some she wolf that we know? She’s from this pack right? 

“Actually..she is someone that you know” Miles said.

There was an awkward silence for a few minutes. Then the oldest elder Fred slammed his hand down on the table angrily. 

“What the is the meaning of this? What is going on here? Alexia isn’t that the sister of Kayla? The one you said can’t shift?! How come she’s your mate?! And you just accepted this? You just let this happen? How can such a she wolf be your mate?!” Fred asked. 

Miles shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. “it’s not as if there’s anything we can do about it. It’s not as if we are the one who chooses our mates. It’s the moon goddess work. If you have a problem with it, you can go to the moon goddess” Miles said. He was really not bothered by this. He already knew from the first time he saw Alexia, that he won’t be rejecting her as his
