Loveless Marriage novel Chapter 166

Heather scoffed, "Jones,I have really underestimated you during the past few years. But you know so well how you got those projects from. Don't be too cocky, otherwise, you'll regret when things get exposed."

"How she got those projects from?"

She obviously meant something else in her words.

Seeing the disdain in her eyes, Isabella coldly said, "I can't believe you're still now maliciously scheming against others, Miss Cotton. Don't you just want to say that I got the projects by selling my body? Well, I'm indeed younger and more beautiful than you, but I also spent less time being a manager than you did. There is no need to suspect others if you have a poor ability, right?"

"You!"

Heather was so angry that she almost vomited blood. Looking at Isabella in disbelief, she said: "I have never seen such a shameless woman like you before. Getting close with Miller, and there was even someone sending flowers to you. Simons knows you as well. Even a blind man could see the problem here. Now I finally understand why you got divorced.

Why hadn't she found this woman was so shameless? Now, even Mr. Smith stood on her side unintentionally sometime.

Isabella's eyes gradually turned cold, but she still smiled, "Miss Cotton, mind your words. the reason for my divorce is my private matter, so I don't need to explain it to you. As for my relationship with my clients, or whoever they are, that's also none of your business."

"You!"

Isabella laughed, then pushed open the glass door and entered her department. Now all she could see were a pair of eyes that were spitting fire.

But after she turned around, her face darkened. Since Heather said so, it meant that she was not the only one who thought that way. If everyone kept gossiping her, sooner or later even Mr. Smith may have some prejudice towards her.

"Miss Jones." Just as she was pondering, a subordinate excitedly asked: "I heard that you were sent over by Mr. Miller this morning, weren't you?"
